Board Chair
Felisha Guirand-Fleurimond joined the board in September 2023. Felisha is the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Coordinator at Connecticut State Community College. A member of the Advanced Manufacturing Department at the Housatonic Campus, she manages various aspects of Recruitment, Retention and Outreach, including project management specifically focused on implementing strategies to further build the skills and competencies of career development for their students.
Felisha is an advocate at heart and has over a decade of experience serving marginalized groups in the non-profit sector. She has leadership experience both in and outside of the classroom at organizations like REACH Prep, Kids in Crisis, Random Hacks of Kindness Jr., Bridgeport Public Education Fund, and the College of Technology.
Felisha received her Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Connecticut and is actively working towards a graduate degree in Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership with a business concentration from Charter Oak State College.
