The 3rd Annual Stamford Brew & Whiskey Festival Takes Over Harbor Point

STAMFORD, CT – Fairfield County kicked off their weekend the right way during New Neighborhoods’ 3rd Annual Stamford Brew & Whiskey Festival this past Friday, September 27th at Harbor Point in Stamford. More than 400 brew and whiskey lovers from throughout the region enjoyed brews, views, and food while supporting a worthy cause.
The Stamford Brew and Whiskey Festival featured tastings from local beer, liquor, and food vendors. Spirit lovers and connoisseurs played boardwalk games while enjoying the sounds of NYC street band, Contemporary Adults. The annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the local non-profit affordable housing developer, New Neighborhoods. “ Without our sponsors none of this would be possible. This event allows us to reach people outside of our network and identify possible volunteers to help us create more housing and supportive services for those in need ,” said Jamey Healy, New Neighborhoods CEO during the festivities.
With over 500 registered guests, altogether this year’s Stamford Brew and Whiskey Festival raised more than $50,000. The funds raised support New Neighborhoods effort in creating safe, affordable housing and empowering those in their community.
